Falcon was established in 1994 as an SDB that specializes in the distribution of Hi-Rel semiconductors and other related electronic components. We enjoy a solid reputation with a broad range of clients in the Avionics, Military and Space (AMS) industry.
Brian Diaz (President) and Skip Wecker (VP Marketing and Sales) have extensive experience servicing major customers in the Mil-Aero industry since the late 70’s, working for the two premier distributors of that time, Components Plus and Zeus Components, respectively.
Realizing that many customers were not meeting their Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) goals, they developed an authorized line card based on the relationships they forged over the years, and in the early part of 1995, Falcon Electronics was launched. Falcon was founded on the skills and experience of its management. These skills and experience have created a valuable channel partner for both customers and suppliers.
Falcon’s management believes that competitive pricing and accurate deliveries are only the point of entry for effectively servicing the AMS market. Building Customer and Supplier relationships that will endure the test of time requires trust, the consistent delivery of accurate information and personalized service superior to that of the competition.
The Company is proud of numerous long term corporate agreements with top tier customers in the AMS market. An essential ingredient of the continuing maintenance and development of the Company’s objectives is the establishment of the quality system registered to ISO 9001:2015/AS9120:2016 REV B.
Falcon, as an authorized distributor of key Mil-Aero Suppliers, is dedicated to the highest standards of quality. And proving this point, Falcon was ISO9001:2015 and AS9120 certified in 2002 and 2016. As of August 2009, Falcon was added to DLA’s QSLD (Qualified Supplier List of Distributors).
Since its inception, Brian and Skip have dedicated their company to quality suppliers with long-term commitments to the Mil-Aero market as well as top-tier military contractors who require a strong SDB committed to quality. It is this mission that has grown Falcon’s annual sales to more than $20M and will maintain Falcon’s presence in the Mil-Aero market for years to come.
